BODY-PSYCHOTHERAPY

"In our bodies, in this moment, there live the seed impulses of the change and spiritual growth we seek, and to awaken them we must bring our awareness into the body, into the here and now."

Pat Ogden

WHY BODY-PSYCHOTHERAPY?

Body psychotherapy is an approach to therapy that recognises the interconnectedness of mind and body, and how life experiences, emotions, and feelings are held not only psychologically but physically. Our life stories shape our bodies, often creating patterns in how we think, speak, and behave. As every body is unique, body psychotherapy is a different process for each individual.

Sessions may include a combination of talking therapy, breathwork, biodynamic massage, guided meditation, movement exploration, or the use of art materials for expression. I work with whatever is emerging for the client, offering a safe, confidential, and supportive space.
