BODY-PSYCHOTHERAPY
Body psychotherapy is an approach that understands life experiences, emotions, and relationships as being held not only in the mind but also lived through and expressed in the body. Alongside talking therapy, techniques such as biodynamic massage (a form of bodywork and psychotherapeutic touch), breathing, and movement exercises may be used to engage the body and bring awareness to how experiences are felt and embodied, opening the possibility for lasting change.
Body psychotherapy is a unique process for each individual, and I aim to support my clients in ways that feel right for them in each session, within a safe and confidential space.
